TOURNAMENT RESULTS:
CVA had a lot of teams playing in Presidents Cup on Feb 18-19. Our 17 National team coached by Ron Mahlerwein did a great job advancing to the Gold Bracket and placing 7th out of 16 teams. Our 14-3 American team coached by Emily Fightmaster also advanced to the Gold Bracket finishing 7th out of 24 teams. Three of our teams placed in the silver bracket - 14 National, 15 National and 16 National. The 13-2 Regional team coached by Kala Scott advanced to the Gold Bracket and placed 5th out of 12 teams. Great job to all of our teams and coaches!
Three of our teams competed on Feb 4-5 Columbus and had a great showing for their first tournament.
Our 15 National team placed 5th our of 13 teams winning the silver bracket with an overall record of 5 wins and 3 losses. Great Job girls!
Our 16 National team was in the bronze finals and placed 14 out of 18 teams with a record of 3 wins and 4 losses. Most of their matches were very close within three points.
The 17 National team had a great start to the tournament winning their pool on Saturday by beating 2nd ranked Blackswamp (who ended up getting 2nd in the tournament). The 17's went on to the silver bracket with an overall record for the weekend of 4 wins and 3 losses.

WEATHER INFORMATION: If the weather is bad and you are concerned if practice is cancelled, please look at the home page of our website. Weather information will be posted for all activities at C4S. You can also text or call your coach. If there is nothing posted, then practices are still on.
