Courts4Sports Ignition Futsal League House Rules
 We want the league to emphasize skill development and fun.  Emphasis on dribbling, passing, ball control and shooting. This is not hand-to-hand combat.  We will not reward overly physical or dirty play.  The true game of futsal is beautiful to watch. Pele and many of the world’s soccer greats developed their game in futsal.  It is the official indoor game of FIFA (www.futsal.com)

Scores will be posted on scoreboard and in the standings at a maximum of 5 goals.

If a game is not played due to teams being out of town, a scrimmage will occur with officials and the team that is present will be awarded a 2-0 victory.

A win is 3 points in the standings and a tie is 1 point in the standings.

Indirect kick must be given 5 yard clearance by opposition.

If ball hits the basket, the ball is placed in the keepers hands or a corner kick is awarded.

Subs must enter at midcourt and players must leave directly when being replaced.  (no competitive advantage)

If keeper throws ball past midcourt on fly, it is an indirect at mid court

Kick-ins totally on color line- 2 yard clearance and indirect.

No goal kicks- ball put in keepers hands

Goal box is behind white line in 3-pt arc.  Extended to line on sides of the 3-pt arc

Corner on color and clearance to 3-pt arc

Goalie goes over the line- indirect at top of 3-pt arc

Bad foul or obvious handball in 3-pt arc is a direct penalty kick at top of the arc

Score from anywhere, (kickoffs, indirect and kick-ins must be touched before a goal can score)

Coaches, players and parents, please clean up after the game.

No arguing or yelling at officials or coaches or players.  We are all working together to have a positive and encouraging atmosphere of skill development and fun!
