Cincinnati Volleyball Academy has a partnership with Explosion Fitness Solutions in order to help our athletes achieve their personal athletic best. Our friends at Explosion provide our athletes with volleyball-specific training so each player can find increased success on the court.
During the club volleyball season, most CVA teams attend training sessions 2x each week, where they work on balance, strength, muscle memory, and speed in order to:
- Increase their vertical
- Decrease ground impact injuries
- Increase overhead strength and range of motion
- Decrease shoulder injuries
- Increase reaction time on the court
- Increase core strength and shoulder mobility
Over the past few years, this partnership has helped CVA players achieve their sports potential, and we look forward helping more players reach their personal best in the years to come!
