Jay Etter has been coaching basketball for over 23 years in the tri-state area. In October 2009, Jay joined the staff at Courts 4 Sports as Director of Basketball and started the Wolves program with the vision of making it the premier basketball program in the Ohio Region.

Jay has a high energy coaching style and positive attitude towards kids.  These qualities along with his tremendous knowledge of the game have helped make Coach Etter one of the most successful youth basketball coaches and trainers in the Cincinnati/Dayton area. Coach Etter is recognized as a "teacher of the game." He believes that if you give your players time and attention-commit to giving them 100 percent of your focus and they'll commit 100 percent of their effort.

Accomplishments

  • Played high school, AAU and college basketball

  • 20 years of basketball coaching experience, coaching boys and girls from 2nd grade through high school.

  • Assistant Varsity basketball coach at Bellbrook High School for two years

  • AAU Coach for Boys U16 Team for two years

  • AAU Coach for Girls U9, U10, U11, U12 and U14 teams

  • In 2007, his AAU Girls U12 Team finished 5th in the Division II National Championships.

  • In 2009, his AAU Girls U10 Team finished 13th in the country in Division I.  Many of his AAU Girls teams have finished in the top 20 in the country.

  • Has coached AAU teams to four Ohio State Championships

  • Has coached numerous Basketball Camps and Clinics for boys and girls.  Jay is recognized as one of the top basketball trainers in the Dayton area.
